JL37 - '15 Ways to
get from a I Chord to a IV Chord'
Level:
Beginner-to-Intermediate
15 of my favourite licks to get from a I to a IV Chord, in various tempos and keys. These licks can also be used to get from a V Chord to a I Chord. I designed this tape with the beginning-to-intermediate level player in mind. However, I use all these licks regularly, so intermediate-to advanced players might like it too!
Tab & CD $19.00
JL38 - 'Right Hand
Technique Building for E9th '
These are the same exercises I use to improve my right hand technique and keep my hand in shape. Most of these exercises can be used as licks in songs. Exercises include two-finger exercises, palm blocking and pick blocking exercises, and some three-finger exercises. There is something for every level of player on this tape.
Tab & Cassette or CD $18.00
JL39 - 'Beginning
Chord Construction for E9th'
Level:
Beginning-to-Intermediate
This tape begins with the basics of chord construction. Starting with the
major scale formula, it teaches the student how to construct major, minor,
suspended, augmented, diminished and 7th chords (major, minor and dominant).
This tape is designed for the player who has no knowledge of chords but who
would like to learn an easy way to construct any chord. Some basic knowledge of
the E9th neck, positions and string grips will be helpful to you in using this
tape.
Tab & Cassette or CD $19.00
JL40 - 'Intermediate
Chord Construction for E9th'

left off. It covers the construction of 9th chords, including major, minor and
dominant chords. The tape also includes a section on altered 9th chords, including
7#9 and 7b9 chords. It is recommended that the player
have a good grasp of the material in the Beginning Chord Construction E9th tape
before moving to this tape.
